SNODC uses a dual scoring method:
🗳️ Audience Vote (30%)
Public engagement through secure online voting.
👩⚖️ Judges’ Score (70%)
Professional judges score based on:
Content & research quality, Presentation & communication, Persuasiveness, Rebuttals, Team coordination, Time management
Final scores = Audience (30%) + Judges (70%)
A balanced, fair system for all states.
The SNODC 2026 Group Division Table presents a clear and organized breakdown of how all 37 participating states are distributed across nine competitive groups. Each group has been carefully arranged to ensure balance, fairness, and broad representation of Nigeria’s geopolitical zones. This structure allows every contestant to compete on an equal playing field while showcasing their debating skills against a diverse selection of opponents. The group stage serves as the foundational phase of the championship, with only the strongest and most persuasive debaters emerging as top representatives for their states.
